Peter Petzer
Peter’s love for the sport of fishing is what prompted him to set up WWFS in 1994. His wealth of experience spans some 45 years and ranges from ski boat fishing off the coast of South Africa to skippering Big Game boats in many of the world’s premier hot spots. He has travelled the world fishing extensively throughout the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian oceans as well as the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Red Sea and the Persian Gulf. Fishing is in his blood and he has caught and released all of the 9 Billfish species as well as most other pelagic species on conventional and fly tackle. His knowledge in running fishing lodges and big game charter fishing companies has given him the experience to know what the majority of anglers expect when they travel. Jim Midgley
Jim’s introduction to fishing came from his uncle’s boat when he caught his first Bass at the age of six. Since then he has fished mainly in the U.K. and has built up over the years an extensive knowledge of sea and game fishing. He has fished in Canada and has in the last seven years taken up Big game fishing and Salt water fly fishing after meeting Peter on the island of Mauritius. Since then he has travelled and fished in many of the worlds major Billfish and Saltwater fly destinations catching a number of billfish but still striving for the ‘Full House’. He too is extremely keen to promote the company’s Tag and Release policy and became a director of the company in January 2002. contact email :Jim |
